Our History
Original subdivision sections one, two, and three. 1934
On August 19, 1989, the Greenhaven Shores residents met to question the legality of a tax sale on the right of way on Riverside Drive, which was finalized on November 12, 1989. At that time the residents decided to form an association to protect and maintain our legal rights to the Pawcatuck River. All landowners of the Greenhaven Shores, sections 1, 2, & 3 subdivision of the J. Daniel Davis farm would be members.
On September 13, 2023, the Greenhaven Shores Association met and elected officers to explore their options of retaining rights of access pertaining to Greenhaven Shores. An attorney was retained and a private meeting held with the President and Officers of the Association to determine what the best options are to protect their interests. Our goal is to protect our rights of access and to do necessary repairs and improvements to the docks and rights of way.
